The slide said attendees from 48 states, territories, and DC. I assume that means DC (obviously) and Puerto Rico are represented. So which four states didn’t send anyone?

There was a full house today at our #NICAR2026 panel today on how to use public records to report on immigration enforcement! Always excited to talk about @documentedny.bsky.social and how to get creative on the local immigration beat.

This week, @ire.org has its annual NICAR conference. If you struggle to remember to add alt text to your images, Bluesky has a setting that will remind you. Go to "Settings," then "Accessibility." Select the checkbox for "Require alt text before posting."
