Just scheduling the final passes of #NOAA19 and #NOAA15 on my #satnogs ground station. After over 15 years and 20 years respectively in orbit their APT downlinks are being switched off over the next few days.

I have not received any signal on 137.1 from #NOAA19 today. I did get a partial image on 137.62 #NOAA15 but lots of dropout. Have they shut down early? #NOAA #weather

Current view from NOAA 19 just a few minutes ago. From my dish on the roof, Raspberry Pi in the basement. NOAA 19 is the new satellite that replaces 18 which is just a backup now.

Satdump decode from the new antenna. I've never received usable signal from so far North, where I am badly obstructed, and South too. So this is very good. #NOAA19 #weather

so i decided to ditch my fixed antenna and just grab a second one to track weather satellites by hand
