The connection in #Norse Mythology between humankind and trees is really neat to me. Snorri Sturlson says Odin and some of their companion deities carved the first humans from driftwood, but recently it was pointed out to me that Snorri lived on Iceland during a time when forests were extinct.
l've been loving the research and worldbuilding phase for so far, but I think it's time to get working on page one.
