We had these sorry looking #NYorks home-grown (outdoors) Sweet Potatoes 🌱 with 'us tea tonight. Cut as small chips and lightly roasted.
Best sweet potatoes that I've ever tasted! By a long way! Looking forward to harvesting the big plants in the polytunnel.
Definitely doing this again next year.
same story with the Peppers and Aubergines 🌱. What a bumper year for growing and for harvests.

kolhrabi and other brassicas 🌱 planted out. Behold the smallest transplants in #NYorks. Had to transplant before warm weather arrives next week. We've had a lot of problems with seed this year. Popping 5 cauliflower seeds into a pot at the moment, else no caulis.. Twas seed bought last year too.👎
Long walk down the River Leven #NYorks this afternoon. Made it to Leven Castle (12th C) Not time to go up and explore. We can do it again soon. Really pleasant walk, so many wildflowers 🌱 out, first bluebells too and it went to 18/19C. Chance of frost tonight?
