Germany actually has a remote weapon station #Rheinmetall #Natter ready to go. It can use a 7.62mm or .50 cal MG or a 40mm auto grenade launcher. Fully modular, with TV, IR, laser range finder and optional automatic target tracking. .50 cal is effective against drones and cruise missiles at 1,600 m.
