Not far from a marsh grass shoreline, are small islands, and between them, the wind is whipping the ocean into a ruffled surface with occasional white caps. The little islands have weathered spruce trees
Almost low tide and the gale is making white caps over inches of water. (This basin drains to a silt bottom, in less than an hour)
#NecumTeuch = is a Mi'kmaq term that means "fine sandy beach" or "sandy bottom" but it's really impassable when tide is low..

A pair of Canada Geese on a grassy march next to the ocean. I call them Gail and Gordon

Beginning in 2008, I began to recognize a returning pair of Canada #Geese on my backyard marsh.
They mate for life, live 10 to 25 years, & return to same nesting areas. It's possible that it's the same pair?
I named them Gail and Gordon.
