I’ve noticed that similar glands are present on two of N. glandulifera’s close relatives - N. chaniana and N. stenophylla - though they are brown or light tan, and appear to be noticeable only if the plants are grown under bright light.

#Nepenthes hamata BE-4044 is one of my faster growers. Like its close relatives N. glabrata and N. tentaculata, the pitchers are rather papery, and it does not respond well to dry soil.
