We advocated for staying firm in fighting for bottom-up, participatory democracy, addressing the pressing needs of working families, and protecting the rights of our immigrant neighbors ✊🏼💪🏼🗽🇺🇲 Special shout out to @johnscottforqueens @juliopenany and @brianr4ny for co-authoring and lobbying for unanimous passage of the Democratic State Committee resolution calling for the restraining of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and reaffirming our support for the New York for All Act (NY4A) 👏🏼👏🏼 Before setting off for the long drive back to NYC through hazardous wintry conditions ❄️🌬, @carokorth @johnscottforqueens and I made a quick visit to the @aero_destinyusa mall for snacks, sweet treats, and shopping (fun fact: at 1.8 million square feet, Destiny USA Mall is the 8th largest mall in the country and 11th largest mall in the 🌐) 🌭🍦🥮 We NYC kids couldn't resist a real American mall 😜 #democracy #TaxTheRich #NewYorkForAll
