Finished a model, it was a piece I started years back, just had the base colours on, basing it tomorrow, then I'll take a pic. Also got the first layers of skin, wood, and metal nets done on the #Nightgoblins Netters and Clubbers, and ready to start the 2nd layers of cloth on my Squighopper riders.

Made a good start I reckon. All the skin done on the #Nightgoblins on foot, and all the Squig had their base colour put on, and had their purple wash, ready for next layer. They should look like this when finished( although the Night gobbos unit will have to be rebased. #middlehammer #nerdlings

A profile for the Moongobblaz, which reads: There are two mischievous Night Goblins who, against all expectations, form part of Squigcap’s entourage. Instead of the (relatively) burly minor champions and shamans who might be expected to support their warboss, Da Moongobblaz are a pair of excitable, diminutive Greenskins who serve no other apparent function than to increase the general confusion and disorder surrounding their Oddnob. It is true they do possess minor magical abilities, but they seem to prefer tricks and illusions, not to say childish pranks, to any worthy Waaagh! magic. Enthusiastic consumers of every fragment of mushroom found in the forest, their brains are addled even by Night Goblin standards, and the pair frequently encourage one another to new heights of mischief. Whether it is catapulting tiny squiglets at unsuspecting warriors, turning spears into giant snakes, or causing magic fungus to grow uncontrollably from the ears and mouth of an unlucky passer-by, they cause havoc and disruption wherever they go, often to the annoyance of their fellows. But for whatever reason, they enjoy Squigcap’s patronage, and the Oddnob has often intervened to protect the pair. Displaying their loyalty in random and apparently purposeless destruction, they are a worthy addition to Squigcap’s court. Wot They Like? They’z gone barmy! Right madgitz they are! Oo Are They, Anyway? They tha boss’ most crazy gitz, all full o’ Waaagh! Wot Shiny Stuff’s They Got? Dat shiny, glowy shield dat stops all the arrerz! Wot They Good At? Nuffin! Gibgank Deathspitta is monomaniacally devoted to mushrooms. All Night Goblins crave the fungi and growth of their forested homes, using them as the basis for their curious magicks. But Deathspitta is utterly fixated on collecting mushrooms, using them to blend and concoct various deadly poisons which he uses in battle. An outside and loner, he wanders for months alone in the Grimwald Forest, returning for short periods to deposit bags of mushrooms completely unknown to the rest of the warband. He is a practitioner of Goblin magic – not particularly potent perhaps, but enthusiastic – and for this reason Squigcap tolerates Deathspitta’s peregrinations. When he does bother to turn up to a battle, combined with the Moongobblaz, the four shamans can bring down a great and terrible Waaagh! magic on the heads of their foes. But this is not Deathspitta’s preferred method of dispatching his enemies, for he instead prefers to use fungi as blowpipes to deliver various toxins and poisons of his own devising. It is many an unwary foe who, in the midst of battle, has found themselves subjected to random Orcish mutations, which are as confusing as they are fatal. Wot’s ‘E Like? Da oddest Oddgit of dem all! At the heart of every Night Goblin warband is a powerful leader – often their tenures are short, with life among the Night Goblins being generally nasty, brutish, and short, each change of warboss marked with a paroxysm of violence and anarchy. But every so often, a leader so powerful emerges that their authority is unquestioned. Uniting the squabbling creatures that make up its warband, they become a dangerous ruler of a vicious and brutal army. It is Spizsnag Squigcap who has done this for the Night Goblins of the Grimwald Forest. His mastery of the fickle and usually unpredictable magics associated with Greenskin wizards is nothing short of breathtaking; where others would be capable of mere conjuring tricks, perhaps punctuated with random bolts of green energy, Squigcap seems to be able to control terrible and powerful magic at will. Opponents in battle are met with thunderous green blasts from the sky, often taking the form of an enormous green foot stomping randomly – but Squigcap is not above the more traditional forms of goblin magic that are nonetheless useful battle spells. Whether armoured knights are beset with unbearable itching under their armour, or a leering green sun appears in the eyes of enemy archers, Squigcap is to be found at the heart of this magical orchestra, directing a terrible symphony of destruction with unnerving ease. Here's something a bit different. I've been working on the Character Profiles for my Night Goblin army, and I replaced the normal "background, weapons, fighting style" boxes on the right with Goblin-speak profiles. These just help add a bit of depth to the army.
