Update on #StormEunice damage.
One of the big old Crack Willows by the ponds has blown over, as has a long dead Elder by the information board at the head of the Valley, and an old Hawthorn.
With more strong winds forecast, please take care near our big old Willows!

Well here's something I haven't seen before. A Wren (Troglodytes troglodytes) picking off tiny insects (gnats?) from underneath an old bracket fungus. Look closely at the end of its beak...๐
