Looking southwest, the sun is setting over Mt. Rose. The sun is obstructed by some white clouds & there is also a little bit of blue sky poking through. There is a bit of snow on Mt. Rose but not very much at all, which isn’t normal for this time of year.

Image is of San Francisco looking towards Telegraph Hill & Coit Tower. There are many multi-story apartments & homes of various colours going up the hillside. There is also a grouping of greenery surrounding the base of Coit Tower, which is primarily the focal point of the picture. The picture was taken from out on San Francisco Bay so it offers a unique perspective of this portion of The City.

Pictured is an old 2-seater ski lift chair that has since been refurbished & repurposed as a patio bench. The overhead bar that would have connected to the lift rope, as well as the arm bars are a forest green. The bench seat & seat back are a light tan pine colour. The log cabin behind the chair is stained a darker colored tan. There is also a window directly behind the chair with the blinds partially opened.

What was once one huge slab of algae that was deposited into an overflow irrigation ditch, has now become many fractured individual pieces. The pieces would fit back together like a puzzle. All the pieces are comprised of fairly flat slabs of algae, dried mud underneath, & wind blown sand with more dried mud on the tops. It almost appears as a topographical map of islands & countries. Pretty amazing, for me it is anyway. I know everything that occurred in the nearby lake for this to end up like this. Very interesting.
