Greenock Roses… I think my ancestors must’ve worked hard to survive here. And there were certainly dramatic deaths (tuberculosis, drowning, blows to the skull). I hope they had some times of joy & happiness, though… #findingyourroots #greenock #scotland #novemberroses

From top right is pink rose half open with raindrops, to the top right grid is another half open bud with frost, middle right grid is a deep pink rose with snow on its head and chin, below it is another bud same rose as the one on top left that is almost in full bloom on a sunny but cold day, and lastly on grid 5 are bunch of crimson pink rosettes. in background for all are red brick wall and green leaves.

Two pink november rose buds in my garden that were snowed last Sunday and Monday. The rose on top and below it on the left in mono are the same rose at my backyard. The one on the right has deeper pink hue and is in the front yard. Both roses bloom until the first frost, sometimes until Decemeber when we had extended mild weather although the quality is not as good as those from spring and summer
