To conclude a great week of #OIKOSFin2025, the presentation of my thesis results, talking about cascading effects of forest decline 🌲🌳💀 and natural disturbances on saproxylic beetles via changes in deadwood and tree-related microhabitats in several European forests ! 🪲

Her work focused on the effects of landscape clearcut accumulation over time on Finnish breeding birds. 🐦 One of main results is that old-growth forest specialists are not affected by short term but 📉 due to 20 yrs accumulation!
