I had never noticed these instrumentation panels in the ground near one trail. Had I
not been observing through the red square, I wouldn’t have noticed the reflection of the clouds in the glass. Or the two seed pods that look like a little butterfly

I’m submitting not 1 photo but my Quabbin series. This is a massive reservoir in W.MA where I’ve gone for years: to hike the trails or just look out at the water. This time I wanted to pay close attention to what was on the trails and to limit the range of the waterview. Next post…
