The train of #typhoons through the #Philippines continues and hopefully concludes with Typhoon #ManYi (#25W / #OfelPH). Man-yi is rapidly intensifying and is now a Category 3 system with winds of 100 kts. It will pass near or over #Catanduanes tomorrow before heading for mainland Luzon on Sunday.

This is the Cloudiest Birthday Ever... yes, this is in the Middle of Typhoon Ofel(Usagi). But thank god, Sierra Madre's Mountain Range acts as a Shield... since the Typhoon's path is upwards when near East Luzon.

Thankfully Super #Typhoon #Usagi ( #OfelPH) had hit a little bit of a roadblock of some sort before landfall in Luzon. For one, shear had never dropped to the levels promised. Regardless, Usagi was an extremely dangerous Typhoon at landfall.

Well Super #Typhoon #Usagi looked a bit worse for wear lately as that Eyewall replacement cycle briefly took its toll. However, as was to be expected in this highly favourable environment it is in, it seems to have gone well. #OfelPH is already bouncing back.
