#Typhoon #Yinxing ( #MarcePH) is looking very sore, after emerging from its passage near and over Luzon. This is partially the result of an eyewall replacement cycle and also because it dipped south across the mountains. MW images show, that the internal structure is quite messy.
CIRA Proxy Visible Himawari-9 satellite image from 0650 UTC of Typhoon Yinxing making landfall on Santa Ana, Cagayan as a 125 knot Category 4 typhoon. The eye is located directly over the northeastern tip of the island of Luzon. There is a disclaimer added indicating that this is not a current image.
