Tirast means pull. The -ien as a suffix is new, so might be just to conjugate the verb, or it could be adding an element of purposefulness.

Spelled slightly differently than the existing word for well (ahfwadh) and capitalized tells me that this is more than just any well. Context tells me it's a reservoir for the Power, so obviously the Source!

Describing it in this way makes it a living force, but they kept it lowercase, which means it's commonplace enough to not be a proper noun.

Lanfear comes from [ la(daughter) + an(of the) + fear(night) ]

Lan is a completely different #OldTongue word that means "prized or beloved"

Q1: Is there any relation between "damane" and "Damodred?"

A1: Probably no, but Damodred can be translated as "Twisted Leash" [ dam(leash) + o(a) + dred(twist) ]

Spent a solid hour this evening translating all my wizard spells into #OldTongue to use as their verbal components. She's level 9. It's a lot of spells to translate on a whim.

(2/2) We don't have a word for Spirit, per se, so I used the word for "soul", which seems a decent synonym and links to how the Power is used. Air is also called Wind (by Semirhage and others), which would be "ahf".
