a promotional image for the novella One Hundred Thousand Lives After Death depicting the cover of the book on a green background with cut paper spider legs reaching toward it. Text in yellow describes what can be found in the book: "What if came back wrong didn't ruin the romance" "featuring Spiders! Witchcraft! Artist Communities, watercolors! spiders! Bird Curses, Illustrations by the author! a normal man, spiders?" and the word "spiders" at the bottom super-imposed upon itself to resemble a pile.

I wanted to make some stickers for the novella release and I'm really pleased with this design #horrorwriter #books #OneHundredThousandLivesAfterDeath

A white spiderweb on a black background. The center has words written out to say "she thinks I'm a monster." A white spider sits at the left side of the web.

Working on an asset for the back cover and I just really love how this turned out. #OneHundredThousandLivesAfterDeath

A black and white illustration of a skeleton suspended upside down from a mass of little black spiders. The skeleton wears a mask of a smiling face with short hair, and it holds a cup of tea in one hand while suspending it from spider-silk with the other.

A black and white illustration of an artist at work in her studio. She is sitting in a wheel chair, and her head is sitting on a box on the table across from her, while spiders crawl across the table. Behind her are several framed pictures. Two of houses, two of spiders, one of a rabbit with flowers in its fur, one of several lower jaw bones on a black background. There are two unframed pictures tacked above her table. On the left is a close up of her eye, with a spider peeking from around the iris. The right shows a close up on the eyesocket of a skull, with a spider lurking in the shadows. This illustration is for the upcoming novella One Hundred Thousand Lives After Death

Tillie doesn't need her head to paint, which makes finding the right angle for self portraits a matter of perspective.
(i'm so proud of this one not gonna lie <3)

A close up black and white illustration of two papers pinned on the wall over a few sticky notes. The paper on the left shows an eye with a spider's face behind the iris. The paper on the right shows a close up of a skull with a spider hidden in the eyesocket.

a black and white drawing of a couple holding hands. One figure is in glasses and holding flowers, the other is outlined in the negative space between numerous spiders, with a mask floating where the head should be.

I drew the main relationship in my novella yesterday. Tillie is an eldritch horror made of spiders, and Ivan works in IT. They're in love. #onehundredthousandlivesafterdeath #writesky #writing #illustration #spiders

"I don’t know. If I had a copy of myself the first thing I’d do is probably give her a hug. Maybe some words of validation.”
“Do you want a hug?” asked Tillie.
“I am being very brave,” she confessed. “I think I’ve earned one.” #onehundredthousandlivesafterdeath #writing #writesky

“Is your whole skeleton pink?”
Tillie nodded. “Yeah. I can’t remember the type of filament Ivan used to print it, but yeah it’s all pink.”
Leilani sighed. “Get back in the passenger seat, you fucking weirdo. And try to keep your spiders inside your skin”

My novella is with @cairophoenix.bsky.social for edits and I'm so excited to share my sweetheart Tille with you all soon. I'm working on #illustration in the mean time. As a gestalt made of spiders, she has a body for every occasion. This one is called The Hunger #onehundredthousandlivesafterdeath

i should tag things, right? Tagging is good, it's a thing I use to find other art. Should I have a tag for my own things? Probably? it can't just be #art. My novella could be #onehundredthousandlivesafterdeath but god is that ever long. Maybe something simple like #meganbeesart
