While the United States are currently in the grasp of #fascism, over here in Provence (France), people are grateful to a US that used to stand for the opposite of what it now represents, when US meant #liberation instead of abusing the word with designs to oppress.

The assassination that turned Paris' WW2 tide We visit the location where a German officer was gunned down during the World War Two occupation of the city.

In August 1994, my father took part in #OperationDragoon, the liberation of southern France. Working with allies and the French Resistance.
My dad saw things that impacted him for life.
