South Dakota’s latest round of funding from a nationwide #opioids settlement will pay for a mobile street medicine clinic, addiction treatment training for primary care doctors, and recovery coaching for incarcerated people and recent inmates.

Naldemedine, a peripherally acting μ-opioid receptor antagonist used to prevent opioid-induced constipation, also prevented opioid-induced nausea and vomiting in patients receiving opioids for #cancerpain.
