F2 are enjoying learning about pond life this week. We bought this learning to life by visiting our pond in the Forest Garden. We saw frogs, pond skaters, water snails, bulrushes, lily pads and duckweed thriving in our pond! #EYFSatWelbeck #OutdoorlearningatWelbeck
Today, year 3 science club explored our forest garden to see what bugs & insects we could find. We found lots of different creatures and some of us overcame fears of holding snails. We made sure they were all put back where we found them unharmed. 🐛🐞🕷🐝🐌

Year 1 had an exciting time harvesting the potatoes and garlic today at our allotment with our gardener Rob . We counted 47 potatoes and 12 bulbs of fat garlic. Next week the spinach will be ready and we can make Saag Aloo! 😋 #OutdoorlearningatWelbeck
