The fog was thick this morning. By the time I got here, it had lifted a little but was still prevalent. Ruby and her owner obligingly posed during their walk to add perspective.

This is an extremely remote location in Eastern Oregon called the Pillars of Rome. I love this ancient landscape. I almost never encounter other people out here and it’s easy to imagine you’ve been transported to prehistoric times. Great place to look for cool rocks and fossils.
