Throttle cable assembly is installed and routed on the #Volvo #P1800, gotta finish installing the new exhaust system, a few other odds and ends to be sorted, and should be in position to get it fired up.

Progress on the #volvo #P1800, rebuilt SU carbs are installed, as well as the new intake and exhaust manifolds. Changed out the mechanical throttle linkage for a cable drive. Need to install the rest of the new exhaust system and keep moving forward

Sending hose for mechanical oil pressure gauge hanging loosely in the engine bay of 1965 Volvo P1800. The hose broke while working on the car, thankfully.
Had a lucky break (ha!) while working on the #Volvo #P1800. After getting the intake and exhaust off, bumped against the oil pressure sender hose (black tube hanging) & it snapped clean off. Luckily this happened now & not on the road, or that would've been potentially catastrophic engine failure.

1965 Volvo P1800 is pushed back into our garage in preparation for more work to finally be done to it.
The #Volvo #P1800 is back in the garage after some time being stowed away outside. Got someone working on rebuilding the original carbs, and going to start swapping in the new parts I've picked up. Hoping in a month or two it'll be running so I can get the brakes and suspension checked out.
