A collage of photos. Top: Two sisters, happily grinning, sitting in front of a somewhat large restored stained glass window. Below left: Same window on the day of the theatre's demolition. There is a hole punched through it, near the top center. A caption on the photo states that it was rediscovered on the 19th of October, 2019. Bottom left: An old photo of the Coyle Theatre, probably taken some time around it's opening in the late 1800s. The window, and it's matching transom can be seen above the doors and balcony.

OP standing to the right (photo-left) of a large-ish framed stained glass window. The background of the panel is composed of loosely geometric shapes in transparent amber glass. There are scrolls of wispy purples and greens surrounding clear purple glass rondels in the upper corners. Displayed across the panel in wispy baby blue type are the words "COYLE THEATRE".

So surreal having been able to work on this. Preserving things is ALWAYS lovely, but this in particular was truly fulfilling. Detail pics in linked post.🖤

On Millersburg Ferry These state history signs make me miss my exit. I need to know. I need to see what was worth remembering. What spirit was worth giving a sign? Which ghost story is waiting to be read?

In the center of the photo sits a rather large partially arched antique stained glass window, in a florid style typical in the later 1800s. The colors include purple, green, and light blue, and the background of it is in tones of yellow gold, framed with a red and olive green border. It is old and filthy, which is difficult to see from the distance it is photographed from. A young grey tabby cat walks in front of it from the left hand side of the photo. His name is Steve.

Making dirty glass less dirty. Glass that we often but unknowingly orbited when we were young. 🖤 Stay tuned if you wish to see the big sibling of this one. #StainedGlassRestoration #StainedGlass #PAHistory #Cat #FormerFeral
