USA did finally get over the line against PNG, but lost 5 wickets along the way.

I think they may struggle in the Super Six against THA, NED and SCO, but it’s a major achievement to have made it to that stage as the lowest ranked side in the tournament.

USA now making this much harder than it should have been against PNG. 92 for 4 after 16 overs needing 20 to win.

Not ‘panic stations’ yet, but they need to keep focussed to reach the target.

Meanwhile, USA are all over PNG in their critical game to decide who gets in to the Super Six in Group B.

PNG were restricted to a modest 110 and the USA are currently 69 for 1 after 12 overs and looking very much in control.
