“Immigrant Family” by Tom Otterness. This reminds me of “The Arrival” by Shaun Tan and more importantly of my mom’s family. Maybe I should visit my Papa’s plaque at Pier 21 in 2026. In any case, this is it - a year’s worth of “pictures of the day”. The daily commitment has been a bit much so while I’ll still post photos of things I find interesting, it is going to be more irregular moving forward. I want to spend more time reading, writing, and on video creation, and a lot less time on social media in 2026 … for whatever resolutions are worth :).
