Roadside scene. Grey pavement in the lower left. A small hill rises up from the shoulder of the road. One large pine tree stands alone, branches reaching out on either side, the top of the tree is turned up and feels like she's smiling. The sky behind is blue and white, strokes moving up like a fountain from the ground.

#JanuArty theme today is Happy. Driving along Hwy #416 between Toronto and Ottawa, this lovely pine tree greets us with arms flung wide. Her joy is infectious and makes me smile whenever I drive by her.
