I went to Hobart recently. It felt familiar. The big sandstone buildings are the same as I grew up with in Leeds. It's because they were built by convicts & colonisers from UK at the same period those in Leeds were built. No trace of indigenous people. Erasure. #Palawa #Colonisation #Nipaluna
