My four-and-a-half-year-old just rode his first roller coasters—two of them—and LOVED it. And they weren’t little either… they were pretty big.

We thought we were idiots putting in a pool. Extra cost, higher electric bill, all of it.
Turns out it was the best decision we’ve made, especially with Fresno hitting triple digits in the summer.

Single mama (temporarily 😅) while hubby’s out of town. Found a local college student to help & it has been a total lifesaver.
She watched the kids, cleaned the house & even the guinea pig cage. If you can invest in a little help when you’re overwhelmed, it’s worth your sanity.

I hate living where anyone at any time could have a gun on them, open carry, and it's legal. My life has radically changed in the past several yrs. And especially w/ young kids. Glad no one was hurt, & we checked out w/o incident. But not a fun situation 2/2 #parentsky #guncontrol

Hubby's going out of town & suddenly the house feels twice as chaotic. Full-time job, writing, school drop-offs, work, dinner, laundry, bedtime… all on one set of shoulders. I swear single parents are superheroes.

My son got a little Spark Award at school for doing a great job & being helpful. So proud of him. But wow—he was so shy up on stage in front of the class. Totally uncomfortable.
