The first time I was 2 minutes late to #parkun today and, no shade local parkrun, but possibly the first time it started on time too? In the excitement started my watch about 150m after the start. I wait for my unflattering official time to join my flattering watch time.
I’m a little late to the #parkun party today, however I had a great tourist trip to my neighbouring midlands city for Alveston PR - it’s decent, flat, out there & back.
Surprised by how fresh I was at 3km, so powered on & got close to my PB …

12/20/25: Hamlet Park #parkun. My 127th and 38th of 2025. Tough conditions, 24F with 30-40mph win gusts. Running into the wind raised existential questions in my mind. 29:29 official time. I ran at a steady pace and kept HR down (ave.: 147).

Only 4 more parkruns and Molly can claim her 50 milestone! Today we celebrated with #nantuwamaparkrun as they had their 3rd birthday. #parkun 46 saw a good pace for both of us, breaking the 41 minute mark, after breaking 43 minutes on 45. Also met two of her large relatives.
245 runners, joggers, jeffers & walkers at #parkun this morning, our largest turn out for a while. Lots of chatter about marathon running today.

Skipped #Parkun in Seaside Park in the morning. Rode on the indoor trainer late at night. Joined a #Zwift race as a D rider. Span pretty hard for 20 km on Neokyo route with 20 others. I stayed in the main pack most of the time. Although I sprinted in the last 800 m, I finished at 7th / 20.
