The #Peguis First Nation has members of #Ojibwe and Cree descent. Ojibwe, aka #Ojibway or Anishinaabemowin (among other names), belongs to the #Algonquian language family and is characterized by a series of dialects with local names and frequently local writing systems
Several homes were destroyed in Peguis First Nation (located in the Canadian province of Manitoba :flagmb: ) due to a grass fire. No injuries reported.
