An American pelecinid wasp rests on a leaf. It is in the middle of the photo facing right. The wasp is thin, mostly a glossy black with an incredibly long abdomen curving out and then down. It looks like a long stinger. The wings are clear, but black at the top. The antennae are also incredibly long.
