Women choosing abortions to keep work visas, slavery inquiry told The NSW inquiry into the risk of slavery for temporary migrant workers hears from a doctor who says many women are choosing to have abortions to stay in Australia.

"We're providing services to 500 to 600 pregnant women per year"
Dr Trudi Beck, a GP in Wagga Wagga, told the inquiry an "unseen population" of migrant women was seeking abortions they would not normally want.

At least, @kentduston.bsky.social there is not the expectation that an employee of a fossil fuel company is going to deliver "climate action". Whatever that is. Who knows? Australia doesn't.
Because since 1788, Australia has not and will not have #humanrights. #peopleagainstpoverty
