#ROC #peregrines Nova and Corazon have spent the day taking turns on the eggs. There was a stand off with Corazon perched by the eggs and Nova out on the corner-it was warm today! Overall it appears incubation has begun! We'll see if a 3rd egg is coming...we'll start watching for one on Sunday!

We've now looked at 11 peregrine nest sites.

All were productive in the past.

Only 2 sites have been positive.
I despair..
Even worse, one of them, our local has only had 2 single bird sightings. We look all the time..

The other site, We've only been once, also 1 bird, might be 2🤞

We have locally, 5 nesting sites.
Historically our area was a stronghold.
My brother used to ring them many years ago.
We've been observing from a distance.
1 peregrine we both saw at different times at only 1 of the sites. This is bad...
