Flight tracker shows a p8 Poseidon American aircraft over the area. The C130 is near the middle of the water. Both at low altitude.
Probably some sort of exercise. There is an American P8 maritime surveillance plane over the Island, and the C130 is now in the area of CFMETR test range. Perhaps they are doing a torpedo test on the range today.

#PhillipineMars was towed on the water from Pat Bay near #YYJ to Cowichan Bay on Monday. Essentially the other side of the Malahat. The #4 engine will be replaced in Port Alberni, donated from sister #HawaiiMars.
