Pewaukee teacher’s action research finds student choice in middle‑school PE raised engagement Michelle Stanke, a seventh‑grade PE teacher, told the Pewaukee School District board that a semester‑long action‑research project giving students choices among activities led to higher participation, fewer excuses and stronger peer collaboration; the program may expand to eighth grade.
