My #PocketReform is back! now updating All The Things.
My #MNT #PocketReform arrived today! Charged it up, booted it, upgraded the system (400+ packages in just a few minutes, and installed #Emacs. All set!
Love this little computer. The default processor is plenty fast enough for my needs. Keyboard is great.
Just participated a #bigbluebutton conference using Firefox on a #PocketReform with #rk3588. It get's very hot at the backplate and has load >4, but participation is possible :-) #opensource #hardware

New achievement unlocked! Today I replaced a faulty flex cable clip on an #MNT #PocketReform keyboard. It was super fiddely but I managed to get it on and working. Really psyched to get trained by @mntmn on this new skill. I have been wanting to learn this [β¦]

Day two: today I finished 45 #MNT #PocketReform #keyboards! they have had their brains replaced and key switches and caps put back on and passed testing!

This is what 47 fixed ones looked like at the end of the day! I still have to go back through them all tomorrow chrck them for solder bridges and resolder on the switches and add the 4, 5, 6 and 7 caps on and then check that they work...

Today I replaced bad RP2040s in 47 #MNT #PocketReform keyboards! To do so I had to also desolder 2 Kailh key switches and remove the 4, 5, 6 and 7 key caps for each one.
