I finished the #PoppyWar trilogy yesterday & damn. That is an *angry* story, on par with Jemisin's Broken Earth for the sheer rage crammed into those pages. Fit my mood like a glove. Kuang is very good at getting to the grit & core of her characters & bringing it out to burn brightly.
