Forging tongs.
I might be brainwashed, but I find great pleasure in practicing simple things to perfection, or at least an imitation. Here I'm drawing out the reins for some tongs, trying my best to do it quick and smooth, all in one heat.

Long Railing Tapers
Working some 30 mm round down on the power hammer for some long spirals to go on the end of some handrails. Here rough forging it down almost finished length, then I'll go back and smooth everything out, before curling it all up.

In the process of expanding the range of dies we offer to our guillotine tools, I made this special little thing.
Made so that I can both forge the short taper, and resquare the sides in one go. It's a bit of a tight fit, but it works.

When in need, forge your own stock.
A few of the things that make this almost fool proof, is kiss blocks. On the power hammer I have mounted one for 5mm, and I got a handheld one for 20mm, together I can quickly forge things down to size without too much of a worry.

Nail forging.
Spent some time organising myself into a more or less efficient and relaxing setup for knocking out a batch of nails. I still need a lot of practice, should be able to make a nail in one heat, but so far I'm happy with how this went.
