Texas #Measles update from #Promed: 198 cases have been identified since late January 2025. Twenty-three of
the patients have been hospitalized. There has been one fatality in a school-aged child who lived in the outbreak area. The child was not vaccinated and had no known underlying conditions.
Sad but happy to help today. My primary care physician was lamenting the loss of regular health updates so I passed along ProMedmail distro information. She was truly excited and said she'd pass it to all of her colleagues. This is the state of healthcare in the US today. Info is power. #promed
