It was an incredible honour yesterday to attend a Royal reception at the palace of Hollyroodhouse with other Queen’s nurses. When I stepped through the doors of that care home 30 years ago I never imagined it would one day take me to a palace. #CareHomes #RoyalWeek #QNIS

Looking forward to #qnis #carehomenurse meeting this afternoon. Everyone has the opportunity to make a poster about where they're at, what interests them, what they've been working on. I used findings from our #studentnurse feedback to highlight the need for care home placements.
I do like creating posters from cut outs of magazines too...some of them have poems made from cutting words out paragraphs. It's one thing I'll always cherish from #qnis programme, that permission to be creative.
