Spent a very wet afternoon in the shack, trying to figure why the Quansheng wouldnt take new firmware. Faulty cable confirmed by trying it on the Retevis HH, same interface.

Been having a look around to find where I could obtain the Quansheng TK11 to review on my YouTube channel, prices seem to fluctuate on AliExpress between £80-£100 before delivery and duties and even then it isn't guaranteed to be the genuine radio #hamradio #quansheng

10m/6m/2m/70cm Quadband with 0.5 - 1160MHz wide receive. AMF/FM/SSB receive and likely only FM TX, like usual.
Also 6m/2m/70cm tribander with the same wide RX.
Sadly no 23cm, even on receive.
Will be interesting to see what price point these end up on.

Managed to modify my #quansheng k5 with the SI4732 receiver pcb (V2) receives short wave #hamradio and #broadcast in acceptable quality with a random wire antenna and a balun.
It picks up some microphonics despite being glued to the main board.
