A stunning image of the NGC 3582 nebula, located in the star-forming region RCW 57. The image showcases bright stars, glowing hydrogen gas, dark dust clouds, and gas loops expelled by dying stars. A recent study revealed at least 33 massive stars in their final stages of formation and the presence of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), complex carbon molecules vital in the formation of life.
