#RSPBframpton
A Ruff in its summer regalia at RSPB Frampton yesterday, iridescent in the sunshine. #RSPBFrampton
Turtle Dove, Short Eared Owl x 2, Temminck’s Stint x 2/3, Little Gull x 1 and Marsh Harrier amongst the usual at @RSPBFrampton #rspbframpton
Best for Buff-breasted Sandpiper at #RSPBFrampton Park at end of track and view NE from raised hump along the grassy strip favoured by roosting Black-tailed Godwits and Canada Geese. Also viewable from seawall though more distant. Be warned it disappears into weeds for periods
A bit distant, windy and glarey at Frampton this morning but both targets obtained. Mustn’t grumble. Buff-breasted Sandpiper seems fairly faithful to grassy strip running North from last Parking bay #RSPBFrampton @RSPBNorfolkLinc
Although my 20th Buff-breasted Sandpiper, it’s the first I’ve seen in 10 years. @RSPBNorfolkLinc #RSPBFrampton @RareBirdAlertUK If you think this photo is bad you should see the one of the Long-billed Dowitcher 🤣
Hey @BoyWonderBirder! Me-sen and @JimAshton_ the butterfly dude are planning our days birding for Saturday. What are the high tide times for #RSPBFrampton?
Heading for #rspbframpton @BoyWonderBirder you mark my words 😉
Not bad for a morning's work at #RSPBframpton more than 5000 birds of 70 species in a matter of hours! Surely some of the best birding in the UK. @RSPBNorfolkLinc
No sign of Black-winged Stilt at Eldernell #NeneWashes this morning (per @RareBirdAlertUK) - its gone to #rspbframpton again! Same bird has also also had a weekend away at Rutland Water - so it gets around! #rbnCAM
