Club Hockey: Antrim Sixes Tournament Days 5 We caught up with the Senior Men and Women's Competitions in the Antrim Sixes tournament at Antrim forum on Thursday evening. Both competitions provided major upsets in the finals. Senior Men The Senior Men's competition featured Antrim, Instonians Harlequins and Queens. Instonians cruised through the round robin series with three wins from three and they were joined in the finals by Queens who won two of their three games.

Senior 1: Larne 1 Randlastown 0 We caught up with the Ulster Hockey Senior 1 match between Larne and Rndalstown at Larne Gammar on Wednesday evening. Larne were looking for a win or a draw to claim promotion for the third season on the bounce, a remarkable achievement. Randalstown, despite being in the hunt for most of the seaason, had dropped off the pace in recent weeks but they were always going to be a danger having beaten Larne in the Senior Cup in their last visit to Larne Grammar.

Senior Cup: Larne 0 Randalstown 1 Semi Final We caught up with the Ulster Ladies Senior Cup semi final between Larne and Randalstown at Larne Grammar on Saturday afternoon. It's always nice to finish off close to home on a Saturday and it's a double bonus when you get a quality game like this from my home town heroes. It looks like both these sides could be competing for top spot in Senior 1 come the end of the season so this was always going to be a cagey affair.
