I’m only a few miles away, and it smells super smoky outside just now. Even my dog had her nose in the air - I’ve learned that she’s super alert to fires. We also had major winds just a few hours ago, which must have blown this up #RangeFire

New fire #RangeFire at 100 acres SE of Boise south of I 84 and due east but across from the river of the rapidly growing #StrikerFire at 6000 acres near Murphy. Lightning coming to #Boise from the east. Rapidly forming monsoonal formations. Tough to predict.

I've witnessed #wildfires, they're always gruesome. However #fires also are critical to make & keep our #wildlands #wilderness #forests #forest healthy/safe. Controlled #burns are now a must. #wildfire #rangefires #rangefire #forestfire #forestfires #nature #natural #blueskyart #blueskyphotography

Looking up the side of little baldy with the #rangefire and how steep some of those hot spots are, and the amount of effort to hike the side of a mountain to put out a fire. Thank you to all wildland firefighters. We appreciate your effort.
