I know the dystopia that genAI companies are trying to create has given us a visceral reaction to the term "AI", so it's easy to see that in the name and lump it in with chatGPT, but they are on our side. The internet, and the world in general, has become a very reactionary place. Now more than ever, I think it's important to challenge our biases, gut reactions, and check for all-or-nothing thinking to make sure we're seeing the full picture. If our government isn't going to regulate AI, then we need to fund the people working to build a better way! (smiley face emoji)
