This is Reize in his 2004 design manifesting a magical card that sumons a dragon head. This was my first commission of Reize.

This was an 'on a whim' commission that resulted in defining Reize's look.

Reflecting on Reize's design:
- 1st art (2004, Shirotsuki/dA) remains the most powerful; it's why I kept his legacy 'card magic', but less emphasis
- His (re)design (2008, Jakuu/dA + color by @animetorlily.bsky.social) was on a whim, but the artist's personal touch defined the design

It's SquareEnix Collective posting about Reize, who had been in Children of Zodiarcs, Shovel Knight, Cross Code, and Indivisible.

This post also made my day, it was close to the end of 2022 and it took me by surprise. I am grateful to the SquareEnix Collective for that post.

To this day, I love Aurahack's version of the Reize design as an alternative outfit.

Thinking back to my inception of legacy-to-current form of Reize; from MUD days (2001) and revisited for a FFTA place, then was a Tales OC.

Cardcaptor Sakura was responsible for the now scrapped, but legacy kept 'Tarot Mage' to a degree. It's tied to an artifact that he wears.

Turns out that Ruidosa is the lady of the manor?! ...Standing before him is Ruidosa on the throne and Archebald.

Ruidosa tells Archebald to deal with him. Ruidosa watches with amusement.

Ruidosa decides to fight herself as a Boss battle.
