I took this specifically for #BlueSkyArtShow today. I was driving on highway 12 in #Washington and there was a fire last year near #Rimrock lake. Many of the burned trees had bare spots where the burned bark had come off. The #texture and contrast was super cool 😎

An imposing cliff face takes up the entire length of this vertical image, showing variegated textures on the cliff sections that are alternately in sunlight and shadow. At bottom center is a platform with heavily textured mudstone, appearing almost like a platform or altar.

Across the abyss: at the extreme end of the ledges hosting the rimrock hoodoos, we encounter this #scape.

Looking up at a group of four hoodoos, with the dominant rock feature having a flower-like cap of darker rock. The upward angle of the view give us a slight feeling of vertigo. The sky in this black and white image is dark and featureless.
