We were out training new @Riverflies #Riverfly surveyors today at Latimer on the #RiverChess!

We found all 8 target groups, teaching new surveyors from @RiverChess @VerValleySoc #RiverGade @ReviveTheWye & #RiverBulbourne including treats like a bullhead 🐟

The upper stretch of the #RiverGade is an example of a #chalkstream with habitat which can support Grayling.

The lower stretches are in need of improvements to address the significantly impacted channel which currently provides poor habitat & low #wildlife diversity.
